The first step in the process of building your new home is the design stage. Step 2, The Factory

At the Beracah factory, where your home is framed, they operate with maximum efficiency, with your home moving between workstations on the factory floor. Similar to the cost savings you'll experience when buying products in bulk from discount clubs ... Beracah buys large quantities of top quality lumber, sheet rock, cabinets, and paint from manufacturers. This buying in bulk makes the cost of materials to build your home significantly less than if your home was built on-site, by a general contractor. Buying smarter enables us to pass along a great cost savings to you.

The factory is a modern, controlled environment and precision engineered for a lifetime of trouble-free structural durability. Quality control is maintained by constant inspection throughout the construction process, and to ensure a safe and secure trip to your property, your home is built especially strong. For example, you'll find typically 30% more lumber used in framing your home and by using glue underneath nailing and / or screwing the components of your home together, your finished home is much more solid than on-site only construction. Working smarter is another way to pass along great savings to you. At the factory, the craftsmen working on your home are closely supervised and because of this, and the lack of weather delays, your home is being worked on for long hours each day. Your home is thoroughly checked and inspected before it leaves the factory. The quality control process provides 100% assurance that your home has been inspected for code compliance and workmanship. In-plant inspectors, as well as independent inspection agencies, inspect the home on behalf of your state & local government. This not only saves you money, but insures consistent quality. On average, your home will be built in the Beracah factory within 3-4 weeks.

Step 3, Final Completion

While your home is in the factory being built, Henlopen Homes is preparing your site and foundation for your new home. After leaving the factory, your home will arrive by carrier and be "set" on its foundation (on your property). Final completion (which includes smaller details and customization) is the point at which Henlopen Homes adds the finishing touches to your home. Your porches, garage, additions, etc. will be added at this point. This step may take an additional four to eight weeks depending on the level of customization and amount of site construction.
